I was pretty happy to see my son-in-law too! I can hardly believe you and I went all the way to Liverpool, went to Paul's house, went to the Cavern... and, no Paul. I never got to flirt with him, let alone whisk him away to be all mine. It's probably all my fault for being too tired at the end of that last long day in London, to go to Abbey Road! He probably just assumed that of COURSE I'd come there, and that's where he planned our rendezvous. Well.... I can't help it if I'm a heartbreaker! And despite our visits to Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace, and my visit to Buckingham Palace, I didn't hook up with any royalty either. I can't imagine what I did wrong. I guess I was meant to be the simple, humble, modest American mom that I am. Seeing London, Liverpool, Bath, Brighton, Lyme Regis.... it was just the BEST. But sharing it with you made it ever so much more so. Cheers!
